You're invited to join me and Salina Buchan for an 8-week journey to help you overcome your fear of failure, perfectionism, difficulty making decisions, self-doubt, and caring what others think.
Damaged Self Trust is at the heart of anxiety, depression, negative thinking, relationship anxiety, and the lack of fulfillment that permeates our lives.
Our Self Trust is often damaged in childhood. Our education system, parents and dominant culture teach us to externalize our sense of self, placing who we are and our self-worth into other people's hands and being attached to a belief that there is a right way and a wrong way to live our lives.

Hello lovely! I’m Salina, a wife, doula, yoga teacher, and mother of three. Well, those are the hats I wear. So let's try again. Hi, I'm Salina. I am a lover of reading trashy romance novels late at night, followed by long sleep-ins the next morning. I have a craze for live country music and dark, dark chocolate and a huge passion for supporting folks through pregnancy & birth via yoga!
I've also struggled with chronic anxiety, debilitating insomnia, constant worry and the list goes on! This was a result of my very busy and the endless-list-of-tasks lifestyle I was leading. I constantly second-guessed myself and lived with insecurities that ruled my life. I recognized that I was also repeating what I experienced in my childhood from caregivers in "fight/flight" and realized I didn't, no, I couldn't live like that anymore! So I started doing less and looking inward. This brought up feelings of guilt, sadness and shame, which were scary at first. But I know my feelings are just vibrations in my body and that they can't hurt me, so I leaned into them instead of running away, which was my previous M.O.
It's so easy to get caught in the "hussle" and dismiss or trivialize the necessity for quiet moments with your beautiful self. I totally get it. That's why I designed these powerful yoga classes! They will help you go inward, get quiet, and be still to help you pull back the layers to uncover your intuitive self. You will be able to see that "beautiful being" very clearly after our heart-centered practice.
This space is a time to listen to the whispers of wisdom from your body. It's vital for those of us who find it hard to "turn-off" and look inward; who can't sit still and just be. Let's take this journey together and see what higher power is waiting for us on the inside.
